About the material and manufacturing
Linen is ideal for tea towels. Pure linen is highly absorbent, dries quickly after use and only gets better with use. It polishes glasses gently to become as clear as crystal. The woven structure of the designs is intended to give the linen ideal conditions to perform.
The tea towel has hangers in the top and the bottom.

TEXTILE No. carries the Masters of Linen® certificate. All textiles in the collection are woven of 100% European linen spun from naturally grown flax watered entirely by rainfall. All manufacturing processes are done within Europe: growing, spinning, dyeing, machine weaving and sewing.

About the designer / maker
Karin Carlander is a Danish contemporary weaver and textile artist. In her work she reinterprets traditional Nordic crafts and the use of textiles for practical everyday purposes.

The collection  TEXTILE No. is based on three simple principles: sustainability, multifunctionality and a mix-and-match colour palette. The textiles are designed to last, both aesthetically and functionally.

Wash and care
Linen is a natural material that changes structure when washed and with use. We see this as a part of the beauty of the material. Be aware that excess fibers may occur during the first few washings.

Never use a soap or detergent with brightener.
Pre-treat any stains prior to washing. Do not use bleach.

Machine wash: Always use a gentle spin cycle, with a high water level. Wash at 60° if needed, but we recommend lower temperatures to save energy in the laundry process. Do not tumble dry the textiles as this will break the linen fibers.

Ironed while damp using maximum temperature or a steam iron.
